LOISE MUMBI GIKANDI-NJUGUNA
MANAGING PARTNER – COMMERCIAL DEPARTMENT

Loise Mumbi Gikandi-Njuguna, is a holder of a Bachelors of Laws LL.B from Makerere University Kampala and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. She is an Advocate of the High Court and the Supreme Court of Kenya of Nine Years Standing. Loise attended a training on Civil Procedure Rules, 2010 in the year 2013 by National Legal Aid and Awareness Programme (NALEAP) in collaboration with the Bridging Divides through Accountable Governance (BDAG) Programme.

Loise has also attended Pro Bono Advocates Training on Refugee Protection and Representation in 2016 by Refugee Consortium of Kenya (RCK) and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).

Loise is in private practice, a founder and the Managing Partner at Njuguna & Njuguna Co. Advocates a middle-sized law firm based in Embu which commenced its operations in 2014. She is a member to FIDA Kenya and a life member to Maendeleo ya Wanawake.

Loise serves as a representative and Nomination Committee member to Safaricom Investment Co-operative, a representative to Runyenjes Court Pro Bono Committee and also serves as the Treasurer Embu Bar Association.

DAVID NJUGUNA NJOROGE, FCIARB
SENIOR PARTNER – DISPUTE RESOLUTION
David Njuguna Njoroge, FCIArb is a holder of a Bachelors of Law (LL.B) from Makerere
University, Kampala and a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law. He is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya of Nine Years Standing. He is an AccreditedMediator by MAC Judiciary and a Certified Arbitrator of Fellow status (FCIArb) of theChartered Institute of Arbitrators United Kingdom and the Kenyan Branch.
David is a Member of the State Corporations Appeals Tribunal. He is also a Member of theNational Steering Committee for the Formulation of the Alternative Dispute ResolutionPolicy appointed by the AG. He attended the 40 Hour Mediation Training by the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators UK in 2014. He has a special interest in ADR and its development.
David has been specially trained in Trial Advocacy skills by the NITA and Lawyers Without Borders (LWOB) Program in 2012. He was further trained as a Trainer in the year 2013 and has been part of the local NITA Faculty to date. He has been a long standing FIDA Pro Bono Lawyer and LSK and has received a Certificates of Appreciation in recognition.
David has been the Dispute Resolution Partner at R. M. Mugo & Co. Advocates, a leading law firm based in Embu with a branch in Nairobi for 9 years. In 2014, he co-founded Njuguna & Njuguna Co. Advocates, then a nascent lawfirm in Embu. He is an Approved Tutor of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Kenya Branch. He is a Part-time Lecturer at Embu College teaching Diploma in Law course and other law related course units. He has also trained,facilitated and written papers in various forums on diverse topics of interest.
David is an immediate former Council Member of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) 2018-2020; where he was the Convener of the ADR Committee. In November 2016, he was elected as oneof the three Kenyan Council Members of the East Africa Law Society (EALS) 2016-2018. In February 2016, he was elected as Council Member of LSK 2016–2018 where he was the Convener of the Young Lawyers Committee. Further, he has previously served as a Council Member of the Mt. Kenya Law Society in 2014-2016, a Branch of the LSK.
